Minister visits flooded Gateshead communities

Hundreds of engineers are working to repair damaged railtracks following flooding in northern England.

Passengers again faced delays on lines between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

The Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman has been in the North East, seeing for herself some of the flood damage.
