Benefit cheat stories 'damaging' attitudes to disability

Almost half of disabled people and carers feel attitudes to them have worsened.

A new survey suggests that many blame media coverage about benefit cheats for the negative views.

But the poll conducted by the charity Scope also showed optimism that this summer's Paralympic Games would help improve perceptions.
