Frank Cottrell Boyce was the writer for the 2012 Olympics' opening ceremony.
He told Newsnight's Emily Maitlis how he, director Danny Boyle and their team came up with some of the event's key moments, including Mr Bean's solo performance.
Meanwhile the designer of the Olympic Cauldron, Thomas Heatherwick, explained how they kept its design a closely-guarded secret.
