Syria: Escaping Aleppo for a life in Leicester

The ongoing violence in Syria has turned cities into battlegrounds and led to a major humanitarian crisis.

The United Nations has said that one and a half million people are now in need of assistance.

Thousands of ordinary Syrians have fled the country and a handful have ended up here in Britain.
