Paralympic swimming star Nyree Kindred wins a silver medal

Paralympic swimmer Nyree Kindred has won a silver medal in the final of the women's S6 100 metres backstroke.

Kindred, 31, is the first Briton to win a Paralympic medal in the pool.

Watched by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a packed Aquatics Centre, she narrowly missed out on gold.

The paralympic veteran says she was spurred on by the roar of the crowd.
