Lost BBC archive of Neil Armstrong's moon landing found

The BBC's library footage of Neil Armstrong's moon landing - which was missing, presumed lost forever - has been found by a viewer.

Philip Longden, who was 12 at the time, recorded the moon landing from BBC television, with commentary by Sir Patrick Moore and James Burke.

He played the clip and described watching the event to the BBC's Broadcast House.
