AA survey says more than 40% of motorists text and drive

Using a phone while driving is illegal and dangerous, but appears to be a temptation many motorists cannot resist.

According to a survey by the AA, more than two in five drivers break the law by answering a call or replying to a text message.

Edmund King, the president of the AA, spoke to BBC Breakfast about the findings.
