Abu Hamza extradition approved

The BBC has apologised after its Security Correspondent Frank Gardner revealed that the Queen once raised her concerns about the radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza.

On Tuesday, Mr Gardner said the Queen had told him she had spoken to a home secretary in the previous Labour government. The BBC said this was a breach of confidence.

After losing his final appeal, Abu Hamza is now due to be extradited to the US on terrorism charges.
