Shadow chancellor wins 'questionable' penalty

Shadow chancellor Ed Balls was accused of diving by his own teammates after winning a penalty for a team of Labour MPs on Sunday.

The frontbencher picked himself up and scored from the spot, helping his team to a 2-0 victory against a group of lobby journalists.

After the game, Mr Balls claimed his leg was "taken away" by a defender, but colleague Andy Burnham described the penalty as "questionable", with another colleague nicknaming him "Tom Daley".
