April Jones: 'Sufficient evidence for murder charge'

There is sufficient evidence to charge Mark Bridger, 46, with the murder of missing five-year-old April Jones, the Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed.

Speaking at a media conference, District Crown Prosecutor Iwan Jenkins said that he had also authorised officers to charge the former lifeguard with attempting to pervert the course of justice and child abduction.

April went missing from near her home in Machynlleth, mid-Wales, on Monday evening.
