Chessboxing is an up and coming sport in the UK. As its popularity grows, there are hopes that one day the sport will be recognised by the Olympics.
The hybrid sport came to the UK in 2008. It was first dreamt up by the French cartoonist Enki Bilal, and the first world championship was fought in Amsterdam in 2003.
