Church campaign to boost black vote

Church leaders are launching a campaign which they say could inspire up to a million more black voters to go to the polls in the next general election.

Churches where the majority of the congregation is black are growing in size, number and influence.

Community leaders have long struggled to persuade black people to vote, but they believe they can influence the outcome in many marginal seats.
