Gay couple win B&B damages claim

The owner of a B&B in Berkshire has been ordered to pay more than £3,500 in damages to a gay couple because she refused to allow them to share a double bed.

Susanne Wilkinson said she was upholding her Christian beliefs but a court in Reading decided the couple had suffered unlawful discrimination.
