Death of a soldier: Mother's story of son's death
A mother who lost her son while he was serving in Afghanistan, has written a book based on the diary he wrote during his time there.
Margaret Evison's son, Lieutenant Mark Evison kept a diary about equipment shortages and the difficulties he faced.
Lt Evison died in May 2009 whilst out on patrol and an inquest failed to explain why there was a 39-minute delay between the request for him to be evacuated and the chopper taking off.
Mrs Evison spoke to BBC News about her book, Death Of A Soldier, how she found out about her son's death and her difficulty in the months that followed.
