Tweeters told to pay rape victim

Nine people have been ordered to pay £624 each to the woman raped by footballer Ched Evans for naming her on Twitter and Facebook.

The former Sheffield United and Wales player was sentenced in April to five years in prison for the assault.

A tenth defendant, who pleaded not guilty, will go on trial early next year.
