Army reservists' to undergo 'radical shift' - Hammond

The Defence Secretary, Phillip Hammond, has set out plans to invest £1.8bn in training reservists for the military over the next ten years.

The government wants to double the size of the Territorial Army and re-name it the "Army Reserves".

Mr Hammond told a London audience the changes would mark a "radical shift" in how reservists help maintain security.
