Terror suspect Abid Naseer extradited to US
A man accused of leading an al-Qaeda plot to set off bombs in Manchester has been extradited to the United States.
Abid Naseer, 26, has been described by a High Court judge as an "al-Qaeda operative" who "poses a serious threat to the national security of the UK".
Mr Naseer was among 12 men arrested in the north-west of England in 2009.
The FBI claims that he is part of a wider international conspiracy.
