RNLI: Tug rescue 'now a salvage operation'

Eight crew members have been rescued from a tug off the Devon coast after it was holed by the ship it was towing.

Mark Criddle from Torbay RNLI said that two lifeboats were at the scene, as well as two naval ships.

He said the main danger now is an environmental one, as the Christos XXII contains about 200 tonnes of diesel oil.
