Fresh snow and gale force winds are causing problems again across large parts of the UK, only weeks after winter weather led to school closures and travel disruption.

Flights have been delayed at Leeds-Bradford and Belfast's George Best airport, while Manchester airport is advising customers to allow extra time for their journey.

Meanwhile more than 50 schools in Northern Ireland and Scotland have been closed.
