Libor fines to fund armed forces charities, says Osborne

The Chancellor is to reveal plans to donate £1.3m, raised from fines imposed on banks for rigging interest rates, to three military charities.

The funds are part of a £35m pot the government has set aside from the Libor fixing scandal to help the armed forces by supporting injured troops and their families.

Ben Bland reports.
