Recovering Queen pulls out of public event

The Queen has pulled out of the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, Buckingham Palace has said.

Her withdrawal comes as she continues to recover from her recent illness, it said in a statement.

The Duke of Edinburgh will attend the service as planned and the Queen will attend a reception on Monday evening.
