Britons jailed in Dubai 'should be pardoned' - mother

The mother of one of three British men convicted of drug offences in Dubai has said she will continue to press for an investigation into their allegations of torture.

Londoners Suneet Jeerh, Grant Cameron and Karl Williams were charged with possessing, taking and intending to distribute illegal drugs and were arrested on holiday in August. The Foreign Office had warned that they could face the death penalty.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron had expressed concern over allegations they were tortured while in custody.

Tracy Cameron urged David Cameron to push for an independent inquiry when UAE President Sheikh Khalifa arrives on a state visit.
