Daniel Morgan murder: Inquiry to examine 'police corruption'

An independent inquiry is to review the police handling of the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, the Home Office has announced.

Mr Morgan was found with an axe in his head in a south London pub car park in 1987.

An independent, judge-led panel of experts will now examine claims police corruption prevented a conviction, despite five investigations.

Matt Prodger reports.
