Former addict: 'Heroin ruined 15 years of my life'

The leaders of an organised crime gang have been jailed for their part in a £100 million drugs conspiracy.

The police found evidence of more than a hundred trips trafficking heroin and cocaine from Merseyside to Scotland.

David is a former heroin addict who has been receiving help from the charity Turning Point Scotland in Glasgow.

He told the BBC's Chris Buckler about the devastating impact that drugs have had on his life.
