'Lad mags' legal action warning to retailers

Pressure groups have warned British retailers they could face legal action if they display magazines showing naked and near-naked images on their covers.

Object and UK Feminista say they believe staff and customers faced with the magazines are being subjected to what amounts to sexual discrimination or harassment.

UK Feminista's Kat Banyard said the campaign is calling for shops to follow the existing legislation, because the magazines "potentially breach" equality laws.
