Queen visits Woolwich barracks

The Queen has met comrades of murdered soldier Lee Rigby at Woolwich barracks during a scheduled visit.

The BBC's Daniela Relph said the Queen will be acknowledging the soldier's death privately at the event in south London..

Drummer Rigby's family has called for calm amid reports of a rise in anti-Muslim incidents since the murder on 22 May.
