Duckmarine eyewitness: 'They only had seconds to get out'

An eyewitness has described the moment an amphibious tourist craft sank in Liverpool's Albert Dock.

Twenty-seven people were treated in hospital after the incident. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said all passengers had been accounted for.

The North West Ambulance Service said 31 people including children were on board the craft, known as Yellow Duckmarine, when it went down just before 16:00 BST.

Tim Olsen, who filmed passengers swimming towards the dock, said: "The craft was starting to list quite heavily, so passengers started putting on their lifejackets and jumping out.

"I would suggest they only had seconds to get out, it went down very quickly," he said.
