Being the only woman in the workplace

A group of MPs say a "culture change" is needed to encourage women into apprenticeships where they are currently under-represented.

Currently the 5 most popular jobs for women under 30 are in retail, care work, teaching, customer care and childcare. The most common jobs for men on the other hand are in the construction industry and IT.

So what is it like working in a profession where you're the only woman?

Charlotte Harbottle is one of only a handful of female butchers in the UK, and Caroline Lake is a mechanic with her own garage.

Caroline told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire, "It's just not considered a career yet women make fantastic mechanics."
