Doreen Lawrence meets Met Police's Hogan-Howe

Doreen Lawrence says she believes Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe will do "whatever he says he's trying to do".

The mother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence, who is calling for a public inquiry into claims of a police smear campaign, met the commissioner on Friday.

Sir Bernard, who is only able to offer a police inquiry, said it had been a "constructive meeting".
