Cleric Abu Qatada to be deported to face trial in Jordan

Radical cleric Abu Qatada is due to be deported to Jordan to stand trial on terror charges, ending a battle by the UK to send him back.

He will board a military plane in the UK which will take him back to his home country.

His deportation was approved after the UK and Jordan signed a treaty, agreeing that evidence obtained through torture would not be used against him.

June Kelly reports.
