Blast near Tipton mosque treated as 'terrorist incident'

An explosion which left nails and debris strewn outside a mosque is being treated as "an act of terrorism", police have confirmed.

The blast happened on a disused railway line near Binfield Street in Tipton in the West Midlands at about 13:00 BST on Friday.

A counter terrorism investigation has been started.
