Energy firms had 'list of excuses', says Ed Miliband

Labour leader Ed Miliband has accused energy firms of having "a list of excuses" to justify price rises.

He made the comments after bosses from the six largest firms in the UK were summoned to answer questions by MPs on the Energy and Climate Change Committee.

"Their excuses for overcharging make it more important than ever that we implement Labour's price freeze," he said.
