Phone hacking jury told of Coulson and Brooks affair
The phone hacking trial of the former News of the World editors, Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks, has been told that they had an affair which lasted at least six years.
The prosecution said the affair ran from at least 1998 to 2004 and proved that "what Mr Coulson knew, Ms Brooks knew too".
The pair are among eight people on trial, facing a range of charges including conspiracy to listen to voice mails and making corrupt payments to public officials.
They all deny the charges.
