Arts funding favours London, says report

Funding for English museums, galleries and theatres is heavily skewed towards London, according to a new report.

Three senior arts figures say their research shows that central government spending on arts and culture in the capital amounted to nearly £70 per resident in the last financial year, compared with less than £5 per person in the rest of England.
