Soldier takes to air years after escaping burning vehicle

In 2005 British soldier Karl Hinett escaped a burning Warrior armoured vehicle in Basra, several years on he is learning to fly.

Karl has gained a Boeing scholarship in the hope of ultimately qualifying as a commercial pilot.
