Remembrance Sunday: Queen leads Cenotaph memorial service

More than 10,000 veterans and civilians have joined members of the Royal Family and Commonwealth leaders for the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London.

A two-minute silence was observed, before the Queen laid the first wreath.

Services also took place at memorials across the UK, in Commonwealth countries and at military bases abroad.

Nicholas Witchell reports.
