London cycling safety 'improving', says Boris Johnson

Despite a number of recent cyclists deaths on the streets of London, Mayor Boris Johnson says safety has improved.

He said he regretted the deaths but overall figures have shown a reduction in the proportion of cyclists killed.

Mr Johnson also said he would look at the idea of restrictions on lorries at busy times.
