Phone hacking trial: Clive Goodman email warned of jail risk
The Royal Editor at the News of the World warned an assistant that staff could face jail if payments to police were traced, a court has heard.
An email containing the warning from Clive Goodman was shown at the trial into allegations of phone hacking at the newspaper.
Mr Goodman is among eight defendants in the case, all of whom deny the charges against them.
