London 'slaves': How women stayed hidden for 30 years

A couple being questioned on suspicion of keeping three women as slaves for 30 years have been freed on police bail.

The man and woman were arrested on Thursday at a house in south London.

The three women, who are 69, 57 and 30, are receiving help and care.

The government is currently seeking to impose tougher penalties on people found guilty of human exploitation.

Criminal psychologist Dr David Holmes told BBC Breakfast how the women will be eased back into free life.

Andrew Wallis, of the anti-slavery charity 'Unseen', explained how the women had been kept in captivity.
