Bijan Ebrahimi murder 'was a hate crime' - sister

The murder of an Iranian-born refugee in Bristol was "a hate crime", his sister says.

Bijan Ebrahimi, who moved to England in 2001, was arrested in July 2013 after he was seen taking pictures around the estate where he lived, and wrongly accused of being a paedophile.

He was later murdered and his body set on fire.

His sister, Manisha Moores, told Jon Kay that he had felt the UK would be a safe place.

"You never, ever thought that anyone could do such a barbaric act," she said.
