WWI 'sacred soil' reaches London home
A ceremony to mark the arrival of soil from 70 Belgian World War I battlefields has taken place at what will become a memorial garden for the conflict.
Sandbags containing the "sacred soil" were carried on a gun carriage through London from HMS Belfast on the Thames to Wellington Barracks.
The garden will be open for next year's centenary of the outbreak of WW1 in 1914.
