Crime in England and Wales down 10%, survey shows

Crime against households and adults in England and Wales has fallen to its lowest level in 33 years, since the crime survey began.

The figures suggest that the number of crimes dropped by 10% in the year to September.

The statistics are based on how many people say they have been victims of crime.
