Chris Boardman to present cycle safety plan to MPs
Former Olympic cyclist Chris Boardman will present a 10-point plan to MPs on Monday aimed at improving safety for cyclists on Britain's roads and getting more people cycling.
A study found that 60% of people who are not riding a bike would consider doing so if they felt safer.
The report also says HGV drivers should receive extra training, to teach them how to share the roads more safely.
He told BBC Breakfast that cycling safety was "absolutely critical".
