Environment Agency: 'It is understandable people are angry'

Tens of thousands of homes are without power and commuters are facing major travel disruption after hurricane-force winds battered the UK.

Speaking to the BBC's Charlie Stayt in Staines-upon-Thames, Alison Baptiste from the Environment Agency said she understood people's anger and upset, but insisted staff were working ''around the clock''.
