CCTV footage shows policeman punching woman

A Metropolitan policeman has been sentenced to a community order after punching a suspected shoplifter at a shop in Regent Street, London in November 2012.

CCTV footage shows PC James Kiddie grabbing the woman by the hair, and - in the scuffle that follows - he then punches the woman three times as she lies on the ground.

During the trial he said the woman had bitten him on the finger.
