The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take to New Zealand speed boat

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have enjoyed a white-water speed boat ride as they continue their tour of New Zealand.

The royal couple were taken out onto the Shotover River in a boat known as a ''big red'', which is specially designed for shallow water.

They also attended a wine tasting event where Duchess of Cambridge said how nice it was to drink alcohol again, quashing rumours that she may be expecting another baby.

Nicholas Witchell reports.
