Dad's North Pole run for daughter: 'She would be proud'

The father of PC Nicola Hughes, who was killed in the line of duty, has said his daughter would have been ''really proud'' of his achievement in running 26 miles in freezing temperatures at the North Pole.

Bryn Hughes and fellow runner Rob Stapleton were raising money for a charity set up in memory of Nicola, who was murdered in September 2012 alongside PC Fiona Bone in Greater Manchester.
