Pensioners could be given advice on how long they will live

Pensioners could soon be told how long they are likely to live under a government plan to help them manage their money better.

Pensions Minister Steve Webb wants to use factors like smoking, exercise and geographical location to give a more accurate assessment of how long a retirement - and any savings - are likely to last.
