Jason Manford praises 'phenomenal' Stephen Sutton

Comedian Jason Manford has praised the efforts of a teenager with terminal cancer who has raised £1m for charity.

Stephen Sutton, 19, from Burntwood in Staffordshire, was diagnosed with bowel cancer aged 15 and started raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Manford, who met Stephen and helped with his fundraising efforts, said the teenager's positivity was "inspiring".

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire: "It's just phenomenal. The guy is not bitter about leaving early, he's just happy that he was invited to the party at all."
