Ed Miliband: Labour 'looking at all options' for railways

Ed Miliband has said that Labour is looking at "all the options" for the rail network, after a group of 31 prospective MPs said the party should renationalise the rail industry if it wins the next election.

Speaking to Andrew Marr, Mr Miliband insisted that his party would not return to the old days of British Rail but said that the current system was flawed.

He added, "There is a balance to be struck here because there are some benefits you can have sometimes from competition...but we do need to look at how we can have a coherent system."
